ENDORSEMENTS

Critical to any organizations efforts and the success of it's mission is the collaboration and endorsement of other like minded organizations. It is through these endorsement processeses that common goals can be highlighted, resources shared and meaningful outcomes realized.

For the CRCA our ultimate goal is a World at Peace. The Constitution of the United States of America is a roadmap and rule book to that end if understood and judicially applied in our daily lives. It is our fervent hope that as we endorse and are endorsed both by organizations to this end that we can attain the goal of a World at Peace.

The CRCA has only to look to the Board of Directors to recognize the Endorsement process and the many disciplines represented there.

Our first official organizational endorsement comes from Ambassador John W. McDonald Chairman/CEO of the Institute for Multi-Track Diplomacy www.imtd.org . His organization IMTD's utility of multi-track diplomacy in conflict resolution and peacebuilding around the world presents us with a very effective model that we hope to utilize for what is presently our very divided nation.

It is the ongoing collaborative with Amabassador McDonald that began in 2004 and culminates in our embracing the IMTD road map of 9 track diplomacy to affect a sytemic approach to conflict resolution domestically.

We will be reaching out to and embracing relations with organization from the following "IMTD 9 tracks":

Track 1 – Government, or Peacemaking through Diplomacy. This is the world of official diplomacy, policymaking, and peacebuilding as expressed through formal aspects of the governmental process.

Track 2 – Nongovernment/Professional, or Peacemaking through Conflict Resolution. This is the realm of professional nongovernmental action attempting to analyze, prevent, resolve, and manage international conflicts by non-state actors.

Track 3 – Business, or Peacemaking through Commerce. This is the field of business and its actual and potential effects on peacebuilding through the provision of economic opportunities, international friendship and understanding, informal channels of communication, and support for other peacemaking activities.

Track 4 – Private Citizen, or Peacemaking through Personal Involvement. This includes the various ways that individual citizens become involved in peace and development activities through citizen diplomacy, exchange programs, private voluntary organizations, nongovernmental organizations, and special-interest groups.

Track 5 – Research, Training, and Education, or peacemaking through Learning. This track includes three related worlds: research, as it is connected to university programs, think tanks, and special-interest research centers; training programs that seek to provide training in practitioner skills such as negotiation, mediation, conflict resolution, and third-party facilitation; and education, including kindergarten through PhD programs that cover various aspects of global or cross-cultural studies, peace and world order studies, and conflict analysis, management, and resolution.

Track 6 – Activism, or Peacemaking through Advocacy. This track covers the field of peace and environmental activism on such issues as disarmament, human rights, social and economic justice, and advocacy of special-interest groups regarding specific governmental policies.

Track 7 – Religion, or Peacemaking through Faith in action. This examines the beliefs and peace-oriented actions of spiritual and religious communities and such morality-based movements as pacifism, sanctuary, and nonviolence.

Track 8 – Funding, or Peacemaking through Providing Resources. This refers to the funding community-those foundations and individual philanthropists that provide the financial support for many of the activities undertaken by the other tracks.

Track 9- Communications and the Media, or Peacemaking through Information. This is the realm of the voice of the people: how public opinion gets shaped and expressed by the media-print, film, video, radio, electronic systems, the arts.

THE FIRST PEOPLE

"We the People" walk upon the lands of the First People, the caretakers of America. The CRCA is built upon a respect and a hopeful growing understanding of the  First People, their foundational values and structures and contributions to the development of good community.

Permaculture Design Principles

  • Take Care of the Earth: Provision for all life systems to continue and multiply. This is the first principle, because without a healthy earth, humans cannot flourish.
  • Take Care of the People: Provision for people to access those resources necessary for their existence.
  • Share the Surplus: Healthy natural systems use outputs from each element to nourish others. We humans can do the same. By governing our own needs, we can set resources aside to further the above principles.

voting

Voting is the heartbeat and being invlolved daily is the lifeblood of this nation of which We the People are the heart and soul.

Voter Fraud: Rare and Mythical

Voter Suppression: Fact and Massive

The above video points to the reality of our need to engage daily not only on the need to vote, but to assist those millions of disenfranchised citizens in being engaged in the voting process. We as a nation should not be making it more diffucult to vote but more available to the general public. The latest attack on that right is a photo id law to which many can not respond especially in the cities, poverty stricken areas and of course the elderly and infirm.

Perhaps we can use this assault as an opportunity to reach out and engage with those in need of assistance to vote and perhaps in the process we all become better neighbors and friends.

Steven Thomas

Steve Thomas is a Founder and Director on the CRCA Board

As a father and grandfather (one of the youngest feeling grandfathers I know), and a resident of Utah for 20 years, I come to the Being Human Party with a commitment to use my experience and skills to promote the well-being of every Human Being in America and on our little planet, by promoting the possibility that personal “accountability” and “responsibility” will make “politics” irrelevant.

They keys are: 1) the people must be “able to account” – they must be told the facts, the truth, about the issues; and 2) the people know how they can “respond” to these facts, how to act effectively on a day to day basis – with the products they buy, and the phone calls, emails, and letters they make.

With over 40 years experience in communications, I am committed to delivering a personalized, "community oriented" perspective to the issues. For over two decades, I have been actively involved in Customer Relations Management ("CRM") and “educational sales”, as one of a small handful of pioneers of consumer and business-to-business seminar selling. He has presented, planned, and supervised over 1,000 seminars or conventions to well over 100,000 attendees. At one event at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Mr. Thomas spoke to an audience of approximately 10,000 to promote the principles and techniques of personal financial independence. With all this experience as a business and marketing consultant to many small and medium businesses, he is committed to using these techniques to inform each person in each community of the facts and truth about the issues.

Steve developed, wrote and produced audio and video aid tools, including infomercials Mr. Thomas has been lauded as among the “Top 5 Infomercial presenters in America.” The internet? Interestingly, Mr. Thomas and Wade B. Cook (author of Wall Street Money Machine and Real Estate Money Machine) co-founded one of the first “on-line” businesses in America, “Companion Financial Network.” The word “Internet” was unheard of at the time; the web as we know it today was then described as “a totally distributed, interactive computer data base.”

As a personal interest, Mr. Thomas has been certified as a clinical hypnotherapist and has developed a workshop dealing with personal communications skills, personal power and awareness training, goal achievement, and negotiating in relationships; participants have rate the program “excellent.” He has been a radio broadcaster, program and promotions director in radio. Mr. Thomas has 5 children and 7 grandchildren. All of Steve’s children are grown up and very entrepreneurial, and wonderfully resourceful and independent. As a personal note, Steve is a musician and has written over 50 songs.
